Remote Body and Brain Work
A service that many of my clients utilize, especially during the pandemic and times of quarantine, is remote body and brain work. Let’s say you have an ache or pain in your body and you wish you could have a session at my office, but alas, you are far away or can’t come in, that’s when remote work comes in handy.
This may seem like an impossible feat. How does a person get worked on while not physically present? As hard as that concept may be to accept, it works! While on the phone or through facetime, I essentially take your energetic body, place it in front of me and work on it as though you were physically there. I sense where tension, pain, stress, or discomfort are located and work through that energy to alleviate and resolve symptoms and root problems. Aside from working through my clients’ energy, I can also help guide them to place their hands on their bodies and work the tissues in ways that will help. Some of my most skeptical clients have been shocked at what I can do to help remotely.
My client Joe S. has this to say about remote bodywork:

A very scientifically-minded client that I have, Cameron, reluctantly agreed to try a remote session with me, since he had ear and neck pain that had bothered him for days but he was 3,000 miles away in Alaska. He said:
“I was very skeptical about having Julie ‘work on me’ remotely, but my eustachian tube on my left side and my neck had been aching for days so I was willing to try anything for relief. Julie greeted me and I explained what I was feeling and she immediately began working on it. Essentially I listened to her on the phone and sat still while she explained what she was sensing and working through with my tissues. At this point I was still skeptical that I would get relief. To my shock, after just a couple of minutes on the phone with her, the pain I had been feeling started to dissipate and felt like it was dissolving from my tissues.
By the time the phone call was over I felt complete relief. Keep in mind that the days prior to chatting with Julie I had massaged my neck and ear extensively to try and relieve the symptoms. Those didn’t offer relief but somehow Julie’s remote work did the trick! After that experience I have used Julie’s remote services several times and have been very happy with them.”
Remote Brain Work
Aside from working on people’s bodies remotely I also can work on people’s brains. The pandemic left people quite anxious and depressed about many things. I had several clients that reached out for sessions where we essentially worked on their brains and helped to calm them down. Stress can affect our physical bodies as well as our brains quite negatively, so sessions that work to relieve that stress are very beneficial. Talking and working remotely on thought/brain patterns can help to reset our moods and energies. It can help my clients to reset their thought patterns and feel better able to face the world.
Not only can I work on the brain’s energies to help balance them out, but I also try to help clients emotionally by helping them to clear things that are bothering them currently or from their pasts. When clients can identify and discuss what triggers them and why, they are then better able to address those triggers in the future. Knowing why we feel irritated at certain times or events can help us to work through those irritations so that they no longer affect us in the future.
Cameron also had remote brainwork sessions and had this to say:
