Feeling Sickly? Try Chikly!
Many people wonder where I learned all the different things that I incorporate into my practice at Posture Massage. Aside from learning the ropes of massage therapy by a traditional route of massage therapy school, I have taken on additional training, including many from the well-known Chikly Health Institute. My expertise on lymphatic drainage, brainwork, heart centered therapy and connecting into your emotions were mostly learned by working with this wonderful institute.
What is the Chikly Health Institute?
The Chikly Health Institute (CHI) is an organization devoted to education, research and therapeutic excellence. The Chikly Health Institute offers cutting-edge courses to healthcare professionals around the world. These modalities are non invasive and effective in treating a full spectrum of physical and emotional conditions. We are committed to passion in education and excellence in the content and quality of our courses. Through the hearts and hands of highly trained, caring practitioners, our goal is to attain and sustain a high quality of health within our communities.
CHI was created by Bruno and Alaya Chikly. Bruno teaches the courses on lymphatic drainage and brain therapy while Alaya masterfully directs the courses which teach heart centered therapy and heart centered transformation.
What is CHI’s Mission?
The Chikly Health Institute’s mission is what drew me to this type of work in my own practice and is as follows:
- To raise the quality of health and awareness in our communities.
- This will be accomplished through research, education, and advanced training of health professionals.
- To offer courses for healthcare professionals in cutting-edge therapies that are effective in treating a full spectrum of physical and emotional conditions.e.g. children and adults suffering from physical injuries, neurological disorders, cognitive disabilities, lymphatic disorders, athletes with sports injuries, recovering war veterans, and elders with age-related processes that inhibit their quality of life.
- To provide ongoing research of innovative and integrative therapeutic techniques for treating complex physical and emotional conditions.
- To provide our communities an opportunity to receive gentle, effective and non-invasive therapies honoring the client’s body-mind-spirit.
- Our heart-centered business model demonstrates high ethical standards, a spirit of cooperation and sharing of ideas that inspires compassionate leadership, therapeutic excellence, transformative education and training.
If you have had a session with me at Posture Massage, then you have experienced the techniques, therapies, and benefits that were developed and taught by the Chiklys. Their curriculum goes beyond traditional Western medicine and non-invasively helps clients in a holistic manner, not simply treating symptoms but working to the root of health issues.
As you know my sessions work on both your body and brain. You are a whole person composed of many parts, many experiences, and a vast array of emotions. Your “health” is a culmination of how all of the parts of you are functioning, cooperating, and communicating with each other, or the lack thereof.
How do I find someone like you?
I am frequently asked, especially by those who live too far to have a session at Posture Massage, how do I find someone like you? I inevitably direct them to the Chikly Health Institute’s resources. Their webpage has a Find a Therapist section which is very helpful if you are looking for a CHI professional in your area. Incidentally, I also use the Chikly network when I need body and brain work. Yes, even therapists need therapists!
If you are interested in learning more about lymphatic drainage, brain therapy, heart centered therapy, etc. then consider signing up for their courses and learning the ropes as well. The world needs more brains and bodies connected!
I love to talk about the Chikly Health Institute and all the classes that I have taken over the years, as well as the upcoming courses I am signed up for so do not hesitate to bring up CHI in your next session with me!
